How ya goin'? Things have been pretty flat out here in Mudgee as usual.
I was just reading through all of Scoty's emails that Debbie has been sending me regularly this week. Debbie thanks for being faithful in keeping me updated with Scoty's emails. Its so cool to see him growing as a missionary and as an individual.
I have to inquire about the Summit ward boating accident. I know it happened ages ago - but i never really got any real details on what actually happened -
Val, i read in your letter the other day that Sara had to get some number of stitches in her eyebrow. what happened? why did she have to get stitches?

As i have said in recent emails there has been heaps of success on the Gold Coast lately and we have been able to attend several baptisms in the District. But for some reason there has seemed to be a drought here in the Mudgeeraba. As i read Heleman Ch. 1 in my personal study the other day it was obvious why. Because of the disputations and the lack of unity among the government The Lamanites were able to catch the Nephites off guard and strike at the heart of the land where it was never expected. Luckily the satellite cities "round about" were built up and fortified strong holds; and the armies of Lehi and Morianton (or something like that) were able to come in and surround them. So we had a really good comp inventory this week. Bottom line is we are more unified in the city of Zarahemla now. The week started out slow but we found a new part member family to teach and were able to catch up again with one of our potentials. So now we have some solid return appointments and a Baptismal date that we set yesterday with Jodie Eldridge for March 27th. Squeezing it in there :)
Last week the Ward did a special fast for Missionary work in the ward and Our district also had a fast for our "Faith to Find day" we had this past Wednesday. We were glad to report to Bishop yesterday in PEC that the work has increased and that we are teaching more lessons than we have in the last 3 weeks. Jodie has 2 sons: Shale 14 and Tye 13. She is a single mum. They are Aussies. We found them on Brier St. our bogan, humble, housing commission part of our area that i was so glad to find. So keep Jodie and her family, and Ayla and Ammon Daniels in your prayers. They are the Part member family. Can you guess which one is the member? Last week we went to the Q1 for Pday. It is the Tallest building in Queensland and the Tallest fully residential building in the world. You can go to the top and take photos of the view and stuff. I will try to add some pictures.
We had a great District meeting this week where we got everyone involved in some Real plays right off the bat and then we talked about our Mudgeeraba March Madness tournament i Invented. I just add up certain of their key indicators that relate to our district goals like: 100% member present lessons, or 14 hrs finding a week, or Investigators at church - and they get certain amount of points for each. Yesterday was a preseason game. Next Sunday (the 20th) will be a tournament game determining who goes to the finals, and the 27th is the Championship for all the Marbles.... (I'm still deciding what the Marbles are). 1st seed Tweedheads sisters went up against the 2nd seeded Nerang Elders and won. And us - Mudgeeraba went up against Lismore and we won. We have a lot of Basketball fans in the District and its a good fun way to get us all motivated in this March Madness season to reach our goals as a district. So we arent missing the March Madness action at all. We are dukeing it out in the Final Four right here in the Mudgeeraba District! I was thinking about getting our WML Jesse Bogaert to make us some legit Jerseys for it - but that might be going a bit over board.. I don't know. Matt did you add Jesse on face book yet?
Thanks for the Emails Mum and Matt its so good to hear from you. I'm enjoying being busy here whilst it sounds like Matt is dreading the 'drudgery' of boredom and idleness back there. Haha. I love being a missionary. This week on Thursday we have Elder Hamula of the Area 70 is coming for a mission tour. So we are all pretty pumped to go see him this week. A good way to end the mission.
Matt thanks for your FAF prayers - they're paying off. wanna hear something funny. Since we got here to the Robina Library i've had 2 former investigators sit down on the computer next to me. Its funny that you quoted that scripture from Alma in your email Matt - we have that written on a note card and blue tacked to our front door so we look at it every time before we pray and leave the flat. We didn't it put it there, it was there when i got there. That's good to hear that you made a profile on Mormon.org I'll see if i can get an investigator to log on and search for you. that would be crack up.
John wasn't able to hook you up at Myebiz? That's funny that the Cougs Lost the game that you had good seats for and smashed 'em at the game that you had stink seats for. Did you go to the game where Jimmer had like 50 something points? I get pretty regular updates from some cool guys in the ward. I just hear that they have the number 3 seed for the NCAA tourny. Go Cougs!
Matt i think my hotmail account may have been deleted since i haven't logged onto it in almost 2 years. Do they delete them after a while. Cause i tried logging on and it said that Robprinam2@hotmail.com wasn't a valid user name. dumb eh?
I don't know my UVU ID or anything like that. please do some research for me and maybe you might have to go through the files in my desk drawer.
Sounds like you are staying busy Mum and dad. Was it fun to be a full time Mum again for a week up in Twin falls?
Well i have to go before i get kicked off. I love you all and thank you for your prayers and continued support,it really helps. I know the Church is definitely True - Absolutely. I LOVE being a missionary.
