Subject: G'day mates!
ALOHA!
Haha that's fun to say.
Hi Mom and Dad, Faa fe tai lava for the emails. Everything is going well here in Waterford. Transfers is next Tuesday. I hope i stay here. I have been here for almost 3 transfers now, the same amount of time Matt has been in Kahlua. A transfer is a period of 6 weeks just if you didn't know, its how we measure time on the mission.
How did the family reunion trip to Strawberry reservoir go?? Fill me in. Catch any fish? Was the weather decent? Was everybody there?
Congratulations John and Sierra about ELLIE! I'm so happy and excited! whats her full name again? it happened Tuesday morning the 15th right? Was that the official due date? That's amazing that they can predict the exact date the baby is going to decide to come out. How is she!? I'll fast for her this Sunday! I've been praying that Sierra would have a healthy pregnancy and that Ellie would be all good. Fill me in and send me pictures.
Fiona's Baptism is this Saturday morning! Thanks for all your prayers! I'm so excited for her and her little family. She will be confirmed the following day in ward conference. Its is our bishop's last Sunday with us because he just moved into another ward. It also might be my last Sunday in the ward if i get transferred next week. I've been praying that i stay though because Fiona and Junior already invited Elder Finau and I to come to their wedding on Oct. 16th at the chapel. They even invited us to sit at the "main table" or something for their dinner that night. The wedding is going to have some traditional Maori things to it since Fiona's whole family is 100% Maori. Fiona has really come along ways and we are super proud of her. thanks again for all your prayers. Junior called his parents up in Ipswich to tell them that he was getting married to Fiona (their families don't really click 'cause hes Samoan and shes Maori). They didn't react as well as we would've hoped. Juniors mom said that she would never talk to him again and juniors dad said that he was going to kill him. We thought they would be a little more respectful since he is making the right decisions in his life to come back to church and to bring Fiona with him. His parents have been less active for a little while now.
Thanks for distributing the stuff from the package mom. I hoped you liked it. Sorry the pictures didn't work on my last email, but they're all on the flash drive I sent you anyway.
Good to hear the prayers for you are paying off as well. Good luck with these jobs you are getting.
Mom I would love for you to get John to save my pictures to my hard drive and then for you to send back more on the flash drive. That would be awesome if you could do that.
Yeah, Val told me about that wack missionary. I think they send the dumb missionaries to Utah. Be assured, I'm against bashing with people. It has nothing to do with our purpose. That missionary was out of line. Valerie tell your friend (can't remember her name off the top of my head) That the church is a perfect church made up of imperfect people and that your missionary brother in Australia says hello and good on her for being a sincere seeker of truth.
Thank you for the good advice mom and dad. It doesn't go to waste. I think about you guys a lot out here. Not to much though. Haha.
So my cousin Lisa Prina is going on a mission to Milano Italy eh?!!! That's the coolest thing I've ever heard. How old is she?? I thought she was older. That's awesome that she got to sing with Todd Christiansen. That must have been a mean experience for you dad. That's so cool that Lisa gets to go to Italy. That's where I wanted to go - so I could convert all my Bacceno cousins up there! LUCKY! The ABM is still the best mission in the world though. I'm so excited for her, and to hear if she runs into/ baptizes any Prina's, that would be Sweet!
Speaking of BYU football... Are we winning? who are we playing? I was thinking about it and wondering... Is Harvey Unga already going to be graduated by the time I get off my mission? How is he doing anyway? He is my favorite player.
Val and Wendy thanks for the letters and pictures I really enjoyed them heaps! Kristin and Pete I'd love to hear from you to know that you and Sydney are still alive.
Pete where were you when you came over to Australia?
Sierra thanks again for all the sweet pictures of Kyler. I love him! Make sure he knows who I am when I get home.
Matt that's so funny that you tracked Nunu street, I'll have to tell president what happened there. Your companion sounds like a funny as kid too, "I don't remember ever being here" HAHA.
Mom and Dad that's cool that you heard from Desiree Quartey. Shes cool. Tell Sister Ramsay thank you and That she's got some Fine Sons her self. when does Alex go into the MTC by the way?
I got to give one of our ward missionaries a blessing of comfort and council last Sunday and it was a really spiritual experience for me and all that were there.
I love this gospel and how you can see it work in real life. I love all of you and hope you are living it and seeing that yourselves. Have a good week.
