Transfers...‏
G'day mates.
First of all before I forget - Matt can you get name badges there in Samoan or Tongan or Hawaiian? If you can get any in Samoan or Tongan then you will have to get one made and send it to me for our birthday. We don’t have any of those language programs in our mission anymore, so we can only get badges in English. It would be nice to get one Samoan or Tongan. How is your Tongan coming?

I went to a big Tongan birthday party this week at the Vakalahi's (the 2nd counselor in our bishopric - 20 chicken wing guy) They had two full pigs on spits roasting. I got to take one pig off the spit and it was cool carrying it into the house on the big platter being the only Palangi person out of like 40 Islanders. I felt like a god carrying in the big whole roasted pig to start off the feast. Ha ha just playing. I had the apple/pineapple-coconut kind of Otai while I was there. Before that I had only had the watermelon kind. All Otai is Heavenly though. We'll have to make some for the family when we get home!
Thanks for the Emails Mom and Dad. Loved hearing from both of you. Hope everyone is having a good week. If you got letters from my companion Elder Finau, please take some time to write him back. He doesn’t get any mail and he says he wants some white people to write him.
I'll start with Saturday the 26th. First off - Happy Birthday to Scoty and Wendy!!! Hope it was a good one. Scoty hurry and get your papers in! Don’t put it off. If I was there I would've bought you something tight for your birthday. But for now... um... high 5.
Wendy hope yours went well too and you stayed out of trouble. Guess who else’s Bday it was on the 26th? Fiona! The girl we have been teaching since June. It was her "b" day for more than one reason it was not only her birth day it was her Baptism day!! (re-birth). She was baptized by one of her first cousins from another ward in our stake. She is keeping all the commandments and sharing her joy in the gospel with all her friends and family! She loves the scriptures and can’t wait to get her own quad! She is awesome! Sunday we had ward conference. Elder Finau and my self sang in Ward Conference. Fiona was confirmed a member of the church by my companion Elder Finau (pronounced FEE-NOW). We also got a new Bishop because Bishop Cassidy (the one who nearly died who I got to give a blessing) is moving into Karawatha ward - about 15 minutes north of us).
We are getting fed so much, maybe too much. Everyone wants to feed us, we're going to need to start setting up lunch appointments, in fact we already had one last week at sizzlers! We are spoiled here in the Logan area - our fridge is always full!
Sunday we got the call that neither of us was getting transferred! I was so excited because that means I get to go to Fiona and Junior's Wedding on the 16th of October!!
But they said we still needed to come to transfer meeting for some reason. Today is Tuesday the 29th. Transfer day, the reason we had to go is because we got a new elder in our companionship - Elder Wulf from Wyoming. So we are a tri panionship here in Waterford ward now.
We also now share a car with the zone leaders who are going need it a lot more than us.
Sorry I didn’t have a chance to answer all your questions. Lisa, Kristin, and Andrea - Thank you Heaps for the letters and Pictures! They make me so happy! Love you all.
Share what you know and love about the gospel with all that you can.
God speed. Peace.
Love Elder Prina AKA ROB
