Last week in Rockhampton

Rob

Dear family and friends,
How ya goin? CRIKEY! Scoty! I cant believe you're a missionary like tomorrow!! FAIRDINKUM MATE! Mum said that "Mark, Ali, Andrea N., and some other girl" were all there. Is 'some other girl' Kelsey? You mean like 'the girl the eats lunch at our house?' Haha.
Thanks for the emails Mum and Matt. Sorry you didn't have time to write much Matt. I will continue to strive to keep my emails shorter.
Happy happy Birthday chill'ins dear. Happy days shall come to you all year! If i had a wish then it would be... A Happy Happy Birthday to you, From ME! Happy Birthday Audrey! wow! i think your 15!

Kristin give Sydney a Happy Birthday Squeeze from her uncle Rob! We have a new investigator this week who's name is Sydney!
I want Christian, Madison, Chase, Carson,Tucker, Easton, Audrey, Blake, Anna, Max, Jack, Jill, Andrew, Sara B, Emily, Sydney, Kyler, and Ellie to know that I Love you and pray for you all the time. That you will make the right decisions as you grow up. Christian i cant believe you will be at Timpview when i get home. It will be fun to go to the Timpview games again and get to cheer for you. Hope you all liked your Aussie Souvenirs.
Andrea did you say that the kids got to go to Disney Land? You guys are Lucky! I never got to go to the Happiest Place on Earth.
This morning we went for a brisk run and it was so cold that i could see my breath! Yes! even in tropical central Queensland! I dislike the cold. I can't believe Provo is going from snow to 80' weather in a week.
Today might be my last full Pday in Rockhampton so i am going to go around and get pictures with all the big cow statues they have through out the town (Rocky is the Beef Capital of Australia).
Scoty and Mark that's tight that the posse all went and played Croquet in the Prina yard. Good times.. good times. I still wear my NCT t-shirt all the time when ever we do service. Who won? I bet Scoty won with the green ball, eh? Scoty i was going to send you something this week, but i realized it wouldn't get there for 2 weeks, so I'll just send it to you when you're in the MTC. Make sure you send me your MTC addy ASAP! Followed 3 weeks later by your Mission addy. Trust me, those 3 weeks will go by fast! God Bless your efforts in Argentina. Is it Buenos Aires North or South mission? Has Mike Miller told you any cool stories about Argentina yet? Scoty you're the man at anything you put you're mind to. God speed Brother. You should buy one of those mini tape players so we can send tapes back and forth.
Mum, tell the New Ward Elders Quorum President that we are just way less active and haven't been to church in over a year. haha.
I know you are all probably at dinner with Scoty right now so everyone give him a big hug for me, eh? and save me some of that Corn! Save me some of that CORN FOR LATER!
I know this is getting long Matt... Hey Matt, did you ask your R.C. Mike Brett where he was vacationing to in Australia?
I want you all to know that i have a firm unmovable testimony that i know this Church is true. My testimony of this has been strengthened not only from the success stories of my mission, but also from seeing the pain, depression and confusion that comes when people chose to fall away from the church, and set their priorities on less eternally important things.
I love and miss all of you. And i try to write letters when i get a chance (once in a blue moon). Things are flat out here in Rocky and the work will continue to progress towards baptisms whether I stay here or not. Have a nice Day!

P.S. - Scoty, make sure you take some kind of flip flops or water shoes for the showers at the MTC. The Chocolate Milk is really good. The beds are really uncomfortable, but you're so tired it doesn't make that much of a difference. Be 100% obedient to the mission rules and the commandments and the Lord makes everything else fall in to place.

In the last 7 days we have had 7 dinner appointments and all but 2 of them fell through. Don't stand up the missionaries when it comes to something as important as food.... But I guess we can't really "look a gift horse in the mouth"... its still free food.

Love your favorite Aussie Missionary in the ABM (Australia's Best Mission),
-Elder Prina

No time to write

Once again I'm left with zero time to write. I got an email from one of my recent converts from Kailua (Mike Brett) today. I emailed him last week and asked him if he had received his Patriarchal blessing yet. He emailed me back and said that the day before he read my email one of the members of his ward was telling him he needed to get his blessing.

Rob in Gladstone Harbor & Teaching aids

Rob

G'day mates!
How ya goin? Its good to hear from yous. The reason i'm writing a bit later is because this morning we went up to 'The Caves' with the Cranes and the Polizzi's. We drove around looking for the entrance for about 2 hours we asked multiple locals for directions, and we still couldn't find a way into these caves. We did find a place where you could get out and take a little hike around an old mine. It had an information sign for tourists and it said in big colorful letters "To really experience the caves you have to imagine!" So we came to the conclusion that the caves were not there at all... they were just imaginary caves. So we all used our imaginations and it was great!
We went to the Botanical Gardens in town instead and played Pom Pom 123 instead which is apparently kinda like the Cranes version of hide and go seek at the base of this big cool looking tree. The Polizzis get along with the Cranes great and they fellowship each other well. Mario always does something Cheezy/funny... here its called being 'cheeky'. He reminds me of you Dad. We all had a fun day and now we are doing our Emails and shopping this Arvie before our Dinner Apt. at 6:30.
Happy Birthday Lisa, John, and Blake Jr. and Jess Peterson! John it sounds like your Birthday was a blast with all your mates there. Does Taylor Nielsen still live there in Provo? Is he married yet? What about Dustin Draper? Do the guys still get together on a weeknight and play ball? Is Tom Woodburry Married?
That would be cool if you guys got to do the new Helaman Halls at BYU. Are there any Murrays in our new ward? Have they put together a new picture ward list yet?
Thanks for giving the grandkids the little roos. i'm glad they enjoy them. Tell them that is their birthday present from uncle Rob. Thanks for praying for Sam. Shes been sick this whole past week and we haven't been able to have another lesson with her. So please keep praying for her!
Mum, i would love for you to put the stuff on my flash drive onto my hard drive. Then you should put some pictures of you guys on there and send it back to me!
The Mission office sent up your package this week with the flash drive in it! Thank you heaps! I also got mail from Travis and Andrea Nelson and a post card from Mark who is apparently in Japan...? It's so good to hear from you! Hope you are all doing well. Tell Chantale and Jeff that Travis is a great example to me of a good missionary and hes always been a great example to me!
Dad that is awesome that you got to talk to Jeff Cook. Tell him I say hello.

I am really proud that the Polizzis are proving to hold steadfast and be good active members who will soon be great leader in the church. When i got to this area i was told that none of the converts in the last ten years had stayed active. So i took that as a challenge. One of our converts - Matt Pope - we haven't seen him in over 2 months. But other than that we have Kylee Hayter and the Polizzi family who are still going strong. Thank you for your prayers.
Dad, its funny that you say there have been snakes in the neighborhood. Today i had my first encounter on my mission with a snake. When we were out in the bush on a dirt road looking for these imaginary caves this morning we went up a long drive way to one of the farm houses off the road to ask for directions. But no one came to the door (sort of like tracting). We went to look to see if there was anything around back and then i saw something moving in the grass, when i saw what it was we made our way quickly back to the car. haha. It was just a small brown.
I'm glad you get a lot of good use out of that Bocci Ball set you got. it sounds like you have a lot of fun.
Matt do you have to conduct a district meeting every week now? Your companions sounds sweet. Tell him i say "whats up." Matt i know what you mean that just because you are skinny does not mean you are in shape. I wish we would play basketball every morning.
Matt i like your story about your look-a-like comments. You'd probably have to be a mix between Earnest (goes to camp) and Channing Tadum (or whatever his name is, from 'step-up'). and its funny that you said that, because i was just talking about that movie today.
I appreciate the love and prayers that i can feel from all of you. It was funny because in some of your letters you said "i hope you're not discouraged" and i was like "why would i be discouraged?" because my mission is the best! But then we had kind of a crappy week, and i was sick half the week and there weren't many people at church on Sunday. Members have beefs with each other and there is no unity in the branch. Sunday i almost started to feel a little discouraged and i remembered that someone mentioned in there letter not to get discouraged. Then i thought about how blessed we are to have the Gospel in our lives and i thought life is Good! Being a missionary is sweet! I don't really ever get discouraged. As long as i stay close to the Lord. I'm glad you guys back home are all such great examples of enduring to the end. Especially you Mum and Dad. Thanks for never giving up!
Never give up! Never Surrender!
Love your Aussie missionary,
*Elder Prina*
P.S. - Dear strong bad, How do you play the piano with boxing gloves on? (see attachment)
I also attached pictures of some of the teaching aids i have created.

Matt

Hey famili,
I decided to try something new today, Email you before I read all your long emails! I am doing really well here in pearl city, whitewashing into a new ward is kind of overwhelming and it's hard sometimes to schedule things (like dinners) between two different wards. The lord has taken a lot of the stress off my shoulders though, I don't know how he does it but I feel great.
My new companions name is Elder Naulu. He actually grew up here in pearl city and then moved to Oakland California when he was 10. He even went to church at the same building(only he was in the Tongan ward). I feel like I have gone to my worst companion to my best companion. Elder Naulu is super easy to get along with and he tries really hard to be obedient. He has six months left in his mission and he is trying to finish strong. He always makes me laugh and I just feel like I'm hanging out with Rob or John. We are playing basketball every morning now and i'm learning that just because your skinny it doesn't mean your in shape.
We have one really solid investigator right now named Gillie, she Just needs to get married to the less active guy she's dating and then she can get baptized. This month is called "Miracle May" and we truly are seeing alot of miracles. Have you guys seen any miracles so far in Miracle May? If not there is still a couple weeks left. I've spoken in sacrament meeting for the past three weeks if you count bearing my testimony on fast Sunday. Yesterday I had to speak in pearl city first and pearl city second.
The work is very hard sometimes but that is what makes it so rewarding. I've said this before but, John and Dad and all my brother in laws and uncles, I have gained a huge amount of respect for all of you guys since I've been out, just knowing that all of you have been through this before.
This week my companion told me I looked like Earnest (like from earnest goes to camp and all those movies), he wouldn't leave me alone about it and I was like shoot, do I really look like Earnest? It was kind of depressing... Then, that same day, we visited a less active family and gave them all blessings, before we left their 12 year old daughter told me I looked just like the guy from "Step-up", you know, the guy that every girl is in love with! Haha, yep that is me, she said I even talked like him! Oh the tender mercies of the Lord, I wouldn't leave my companion alone about it after that.
Other than that I just wanted to say thank you for all your support, I love and miss you guys but I am having the time of my life out here and not a day goes by that I don't thank god for my family and this amazing opportunity I have to serve him. I love you guys and know you are all doing great things back on the mainland, keep up the good work. Please tell all my nephews and nieces I say whats up.
Much aloha
Elder Prina

1 2 3 I AM KING!

G'day How ya goin mates? I enjoyed all your emails. Who are the new home teachers Mum and Dad?
Matt, Hawaii sounds like such a beautiful place. If only you could see how much better it is here. haha! Actually its cloudy and drizzling here in Rocky at the moment. I actually went and bought a jumper at Vinnies on Friday because it is starting to get down in the 50s and 60s in the mornings. I left all my warm clothes down in Brizzy at the mission home. I got a nice colorful jumper for only $2 bucks. The cheapest one I could find at the mall was $30 so I'm glad I hit up the Op shops instead.
That's sweet! There's an 'In And Out' in Provo! Lets eat there as soon as i get home! Matt good on ya for your Mothers day talk. We taught a Gospel Principles class that week on "The Mothers that knew" from the Book of Mormon. Yesterday we taught 2 Nephi 28 about the Book of Mormon and how people will say "A BIBLE a BIBLE! We have a BIBLE! and We shall need NO MORE BIBLE!" (Paraphrased) I always read that part in a big black lady's southern accent 'cause that is what it always reminds me of. Mum, I like Matt, also have a testimony of Family sit down meals. We took that for granted so much growing up, and then i found out that we're like the only people that ever did it.
Matt, do you go to church twice every week? Do you teach any classes? Matt sounds like things are Golden as with Gillie and Phillip. Get them Married and Baptized! I love Weddings!....
Matt the Ice cream sundae lesson is crack up. I'll have to try that with a few people. Especially some of our recent converts who haven't been to church in ages. They need to get their priorities strait. Thanks again for the package bro. You'll have to send me some pictures in your next parcel.
Mum, i sent a hard drive in that big package to John and Sierra put pictures of the family on it, and send it back to me. Thanks!
Matt is Mike Brett coming to Brisbane in October? I could be any where in Queensland by October, but I'll probably be somewhere in Brisbane. Ask him specifically where he is planning to stay? Most people go on Holiday to the Gold Coast which is about 45 min. south of Brisbane.
Matt when you say you got to do your first interview are you talking Baptismal Interview? I still haven't done any yet. No one in my district has baptized yet except us and Gladston Elders, and Elder Wallace the senior Missionary had to do both of those 'cause the one down in Gladston had trouble with question #4 and you can't interview someone you taught. So i haven't done any yet. I don't have to do training every week either because all our areas are over an hour apart,I do numbers on Sunday night. Matt, your new companion sounds mean. Send me a pic of you and him and tell him i say "G'DAY Mate" "Throw another Shrimp on the Barbe!" (they don't even say 'shrimp' in Australia, they're called Prawns)
Dad, I'm glad that good weather is finally finding you. Dad i'm glad BYU is doing well in all their sports they play. Dad, thanks for always having good advice and a spiritual message or testimony in your emails.
Mum... that is just what you're called over here,, personally i like Mom better. Its so funny. Everyone in America thinks Australia is the best and wants to go there; everyone in Australia thinks Australia is boring and wants to go to the more exciting AMERICA! Everyone in America thinks the Aussie accent is the coolest thing since peanut butter crunch, and in Australia they hate their accent and like everyone elses (except New Zealanders HAHA). Also if you tell Australians you're from America they will all ask you "is it really scary over there?? Have you ever been shot at??" haha. Hollywood is not America!.....
Mum, Sam Crooks did come to church today and shes a stalwart! She even signed up to feed us on our Meal roster! We took her chewy chocolate cookies the last time we went to her house, and she brought us our plate back yesterday with triple chocolate muffins on it! MMMmmmmmm. We had to give one of them to our branch president though, 'cause he gave us a referral and we reckoned that was deserving of a triple chocolate muffin! We are having another lesson with Sam this week, hopefully in her fellowship's home and we are going to commit her to baptism! Please Pray for her and for us as we prepare for this!!
The Polizzis - ..... Well, the Polizzi's amaze me, they are all stalwarts. Mario and his Oldest son blessed the sacrament for the 1st time yesterday and did it perfectly, and then the second oldest son - Brendon who is a teacher prepared and passed the sacrament and even did the 'counting' during sacrament meeting - that job that bro. Cardon would do (the ward clerk) - here they have the teachers do it.
How many times has Scoty been to the temple? I'm jealous that he got to go to Manti! Scoty, you think you could get one more letter off to me and maybe some pictures before you take off to the MTC? I'd say you owe me at least one. How is it living with Summer?
John did you say that you guys got a 2005 Honda Civic sedan hybrid when i was on the phone with you? Is it black? Back to the civic again eh? Don't let him drive it Sierra... he has a bad history with Civics!
Mum, what is this new "Rubio's" place like? What kind of food is it? I'm glad you guys are finding work. Mom, who wrote that book "The Last Lecture" you read?
I got a card and 10 American Dollars from the Andrews and the "activity girls". Tell them thanks for that! Tell the ward i say whats up and that i miss em! I Colby Hymas going on a mission? Has any one seen Mark recently? How ya going Mark? I miss ya. Be safe up there in the air!!
Mum thanks for all the good "eye contact" advice and everything I actually think of your advice often. I guess that 'broken record' method of yours really worked. Haha.
Hope you Enjoy the pictures. I had a video of Kangaroos hopping around at the zoo - but i think the file was too big.
I love and miss you all. We had an amazing zone conference this past week which gave a bright outlook on how to work better with the great members we have here in Rockhampton and i am already applying it and seeing the blessings. I also have an increased testimony of the Doctrine of Christ! Which is central to our message as missionaries. I am grateful for the Aaronic Priesthood which we had the chance to commemorate yesterday. I wouldn't be here with out it. I know that the church of Christ has been restored to the earth exactly how he set it up when he was here. I'm so grateful for that. I want you all to know that I know the Church is true and that the Book of Mormon teaches us how to be truly happy.
I Love yous heaps,
Elder R.A. Prina

We do not doubt our mothers knew it. Alma 56:48. Happy Mothers Day!

Dear Mother,
You are the one that brought me to the planet earth
you are the one that suffered through my 14 hour birth
you are the one who made lemonade for me when I came back from play
I love you mom, so have a nice Mothers Day!

Mum, I really enjoyed talking to you this morning on Mothers Day. I'm glad you all had a good day. It was good to hear all your voices,it was good to hear little Ellie talking. Thank you for answering all my questions and for all the love and support. I hope you had a fun time at Lisa's tonight. Tell her I love her, that I missed talking to her and her family, and that I say happy Mothers Day!
Happy Birthday to Jill, Emily, and Blake Sr.! Don't grow up too fast.
Not really any big news this week. We've had a lot of lessons with recent converts and less actives lately. Scot, I'm trying to be a better 'Challenging and Testifying' Missionary. The theme in the mission this transfer is finding, and more specifically: opening our mouths and talking to everyone.
We've caught up with some former investigators lately and we are trying to get something going, because we need more investigators and we need to teach more lessons.
On Friday we met up with the Gladston Elders in a little place in between our areas in the middle of no where called "Bajool" we had a referral out there and we thought we would tag team on it since it was in-between our areas. They live out on this farm and I think we had every farm animal you can think of join in the lesson in the dining room while we were teaching. They just came in the house as they pleased, the horse even poked his head in to listen. A cock even crowed 3 times in a row which scared us a bit.
That day I also got your package with everything in it Matt. It was Tight As Bet!! Thanks. I really enjoyed the tapes. I don't think you put any pictures on the flash drive though. The BK crown was the coolest! I AM KING! Those rules on the back are crack up! We will have to play that crown game when I have 6 other missionaries staying with us this weekend for zone conference.
Matt, I'm a little bit "T - O'd" that I didn't get to talk to you today mate; But the package and the tape made up for it. I'll talk to you on Chrissy, eh? Rightyo. Matt just out of curiosity, have you had to do anything in leadership yet... or just train? I want to train someone. Matt how do you like your new comp? Tell me about him.
Mom, its good to hear you got the package for the grandkids Chrissy Prezzys and the big one to John and Sierra. Why did it go to your address again? Hope everyone enjoys their letters and pictures, and I hope to hear back from everyone especially you.
Mark, have you got my package yet mate? Drop me a line some time at my address up here in Rockhampton.
Mum, on that tape Matt sent me from you, you said that you hear we eat out all the time? I want you to know that I never eat out (maybe once a transfer) and that I proudly make Prina tacos about once a fortnight. (every 2 weeks)
We have a new investigator this week - Sam 22, nice girl with 2 little 4 year old red headed twins no husband. She is friends with an older couple in the branch and they brought her to church for the past two weeks so we are starting to teach her this week. So please pray for her to be receptive to the spirit. Thanks heaps for praying for the Polizzis; all our prayers have payed off.
We are just taking it easy this Pday. I wish I could be at Lisa's for dinner with all the family. Hello everyone back home! Know that I love and miss all you and appreciate you for supporting me on my mission.
Scoty good on you for sticking it out and preparing for your mission. You will be glad you did! It's the best time of your life!
Christian, congrats on your success with footie. You're the man. Lisa could you take some pictures of the kids playing sports for me?
Mom, thanks for the flash drive, but I probably we won't get it till the middle of June, since you sent it to the mission office. Mom, that is awesome that you actually got to meet Eve! Did you get a picture with her or anything? I just heard about that on that tape you sent me. Any luck in getting that lady in Lisa's old house and her Jewish husband back to church?
Val, I feel bad that I didn't really say much to you on the phone! There was too many people on the phone at once. But I want you to know that I love you and that I hope you have a great mothers day.

I love and miss you all and hope to hear from you soon. The gospel is most definitely true. Be worthy of and expect Miracles!
God Bless, Love,
Elder Prina CRIKEY MATE!

Matt 5/10

Good morning brothers and sisters and ALOHA!
It's another beautiful day here in Pearl City Hawaii. The sun is glistening off the massive gray ships in the harbor, the air is warm, the wind is cool, the sound of cars going to work, the mind racing to remember all that needs to be done on this busy day, my mouth filled with the taste of L&L Hawaiian Barbecue... I heard there's an L&L in Provo is that true? I heard they were building an "In n' Out" too.
Thank you so much for the telephone call yesterday, it was definitely the high light of my week. I didn't know I was going to get to talk to all those people, It was great! Right after I hung up and walked into church one of the members asked me if I could speak on the influence my mother had on me. I talked about how when I was growing up I took things that Mom did for granted like pushing family scripture study, family prayer, family home evening, and most importantly family meals, "I have a testimony of family meals". I cried and I apparently I made some other people cry too. Oiaue! Tangi taimi kotoa pe! si'i!
We went to church twice yesterday since we're in PC1 and PC2 now. In the PC2 a guy gave a really good talk on "Mothers that know", based off the scripture about the stripling warriors mothers. It was tight. We had two investigators come to church yesterday. One was Gillie, in our new ward (PC2), we taught her for the first time last week. She is an orphan, originally from Hati, in her early 20s, who is dating one of the less active guys in our ward. She is one of the people that you know is going to get baptized after the first lesson. The spirit was really strong when we taught and she got a little emotional. She came to the Mormon helping hands service project the next day and then came to church the day after that and participated in the Gospel Principals class and everything. The other person who came is Phillip Bolo, he's a Filipino guy who is engaged to one of the less active girls from the PC1 ward. We have been teaching him since before I got here but he never came to church until this week. Last week we taught him the Ice cream sundae lesson and invited him to church. The Ice cream sundae lesson is when you blindfold your investigator and tell him you want him to make an ice cream sundae. you give him a taste of chocolate syrup and ask if you can put it on his sundae but Instead you put Tabasco sauce on it. Then you give him a taste of Carmel topping and ask him if he wants some of that but instead you put some mustard on it. Then you tell him your adding the nuts and the cherry on top but instead apply bacon bits and a big green olive. Then you bid him eat. When he repulses, you ask him whats wrong!? What did you put on your sundae!? you then have him remove the blind fold and talk about the analogy. The ice cream represents the sabbath. How good your sundae tastes depends on what you put on it or what you do on Sunday. Mustard and hot sauce can be compared to surfing, shopping, or just cruising with friends. Chocolate and carmel is reading your scriptures, going to church, writing in your journal and spending time with the family. They'll never forget that lesson for the rest of their lives. Then you make a good sundae, then, you stuff.
Rob, I'm so glad you finally got the package, I could have swore I took your pictures off the flash drive and put my pictures on... oh well. One of my recent converts from Kailua (Mike Brett, the younger one who talked on the tape I sent you) wrote me yesterday and said he and his wife would be vacationing to Australia in October. He said they plan to go to church there on a Sunday and he wants to find you. I'll get you more details later. To answer your question, yes I did get called as D.L. this last week and got to do my first Interview yesterday, It was tight.
Lisa, you asked what recipes to make when I get home, look up Spam Musubi on the internet, its just rice and spam wrapped in sea weed and its good. You should make some when I get home.
Well that is all for today, like Rob today will just be a cruising pday, time to relax. Oh I didn't talk about my new companion, he is tight and I feel like I'm serving with Rob or John, I'll tell you more next week.
Love,
Elder Prina.

Ahoy family and friends

How ya goin mates?
Sorry I'm late again this week. We had another public holiday on monday (Labour day or May day). This week for Pday we started by playing basketball 6:30 AM we had most of the Polynesians in Rockhampton there to play - members and nonmembers - and it was a good, fun, fellow shipping tool. We had a few really good games.
We had just enough time to go home, shower and change and then we hiked Mt.Jim Crow at 9:30 with Elder Wallace, Mario and Michelle Polizzi, their 2 oldest boys - Tony (16) and Brendan (14), and Toni Crane and her Oldest Daughter Sariah (15). So all together we had 9 people hiking up Mt. Jim crow. I'll have to send some pictures next week. It was a blast. Plus Toni Crane said she would give you guys some pictures from it as well. Then we went out to Yepoon and all had fish and chips together and played baseball. It was 'The Best!' We all had so much fun, and it was good for the Polizzis to make new friends in the Branch since they are new members.
Just a few things:
Since stayed here in Rocky, please continue to send my mail here (3/10 hassell st. addy) until about the last week of May. Other wise i wont get it 'till the middle of June. But after I get transferred back down to Brisbane go back to sending everything to the mission office. Thanks.

Dad thank you so much for answering all my questions in this last email. That really helps!
Lisa! I miss you and your kids heaps, and think about you all the time, 'cause there is a cool family in our branch here that really reminds me of your family (the Cranes). Last night I had a dream with you and Easton in it, and i think I saw Easton walking. I want to see some pictures of that kid up and walking around! Please send some pictures of Easton and the rest of the family! Lisa & Val I want to talk to you on Mothers day! So please go to Mum and Dads house so you can get in on the Conference Call!!! Please.
Dad, I Heard about Harvey Unga. What doyou think? I was pretty shattered when I heard. I heard they (Bronco) might be giving him a window back into BYU through the repentance process or something. Is that true? I hope he gets his act together.

Mum, have any of my packages arrived yet? the one from Davis Leather (Sea mail)? The one to John and Sierra? The one to Mark?
Matt, are the Unga's in the Summit Ward now? Its good to hear you are getting all new companions, and that you get to stay in the Pearl City and take on another Ward. Gods Speed brother. I pray for you and the rest of our fellow brethren serving every night.
Matt, the package you sent to the mission home I won't get until I got transferred back down to Brisbane. HOWEVER! a miracle has occurred and a member from one of the surrounding areas here in central Queensland traveled down to Brizzy for something and offered to pick up all our mail and packages for us and bring them up in her car. So I will get those packages this Friday from the Gladston Elders. We get to go down to Gladston for the 1st time because I get to interview their investigator for baptism (my 1st interview I've ever done).

Matt, if your ward mission leaders wife grew up in Sydney I wouldn't know her or her family, 'cause that is in another mission, but my last comp, Elder Paki 1 grew up in western Sydney. What is her maiden name and did she grow up in the church?

Matt, my companion and I have been striving to be more obedient. I have been fasting for the past few Sundays that we would find new people to teach. On Sunday we had a member bring a 22 year old girl to church. She is a solo mum with 4 yr old twin girls. She came to our gospel essentials class that we teach and said she has lots of questions for us. So our prayers have been answered! We have someone new to teach! When we are obedient to a commandment, a blessing is always automatically attached weather.
Happy Mothers day to all. MOM - It would be most convenient for me if you do the same thing on Mother's day that you did on Christmas and call me Monday morning at 8:00 (4pm Provo; 12 noon Hawaii time). What ever happens I look forward to talking to you. Mum, good on you for staying obedient and over coming temptation. Sounds like the Sunday school class is going all right.
John, when Debbie, sent me that package for Christmas with the t-shirt in it and stuff, did they send it to the mission home addy? I hope they did. Because if not, its lost in Postland somewhere.
Is John and sierra's address 110 west or 1100 west??

Love you all heaps. The church is most defiantly true!
Love, Elder Prina!
