Rob

G'day everyone,
How ya goin'? Sorry me email last week was so long, I was trying to catch up on some things after a few weeks of falling behind.
Matt it was good to hear from you. I still haven’t received your package, I think it might be at the mission office and I won’t get it until transfers on November 10th. So my birthday package for you that I've been working on might be a bit late.

Ask your companion if he knows any Finaus from his island. Are you and he getting along well? Is the language barrier hard or do you communicate fairly well since you know some Tongan?
This is all the Tongan I know:
Malo E Lelei Fefe haka? Sai Pe; and "its time to visit the 'Mohe' family"
that’s what we say when we're tired.
Matt you're lucky that you get to go to gyms - we're not allowed. Sorry to hear you didn’t like the sea urchins. I think I’m going to go throw up now after that description. haha.
We've met some crazy people tracking lately. One lady said she was part of our church: that she had once been a 'skylark' and was even close friends with the mare family... she acted like we knew what the heck she was talking about. Turns out she’s from the Reorganized Church, and she tried to tell us that it’s the same as ours. We went and did some service for her. She told us all these crazy stories about how her x-husband tried to slit her throat, how a dingo ate her chicken and how she lost her horse (her favorite thing in the whole world) when she was 9 but she'll find him again some day. How she’s never been drunk in her life, she broke down crying in front of us like 3 times while we were there. She reminds me so much of Sister Elaine Paulson. She even looks kind of like her.
2 people that we've tracked into have decided to come to church which is awesome. We gave one of them a tour of the chapel - she said that she had only been to a church twice before - once for a wedding and once for a funeral.
Mom, if people are still asking what I want for my birthday - thought of some more things: a hacky sack, a Rubik’s cube and a 2 gig flash drive.
Also mom, I was wondering if you could get me the addresses for Lincoln (Elder Selk) and Alex (Elder Ramsay). I still can’t believe they are both on missions right now.
Mom and Dad thank you so much for the mail and emails and always supporting us and being proud of us. Sometimes I don’t feel like I deserve it. But I’m trying my best. We set another baptismal date this week for a nine year old girl named Mi'i Haletema, she’s a Cook Islander. She’s decided to get baptized on November 7th. So that will be the best birthday present I could ask for. So please pray for her. If she gets baptized on the 7th I will have helped 7 people enter the covenant of baptism on my mission. Pretty cool eh' - 7th - 7. I’m just happy that the work is still moving along nicely here in the Waterford area. I don’t think I will stay here another transfer, transfers is on November 10th.
Elder Finau wants me to ask if he can stay in our basement if he comes over to the states after we both get back from our missions. And how much rent would be, or if he could just work for you guys to pay board. I know it’s down the road... but what do you think?
Happy Birthday to Eric and Grandpa Rookhuyzen! How are you guys doing?
Val, thanks for that letter you sent a while ago. I think that I’m only going to have time to email you back. Maybe some day i will get around to writing something on paper. It’s good to hear all the news about the kids. They are growing up so fast! Thanks so much for the pictures. It’s too bad to hear about the missionary that didn’t mind his manners with your friend Jessica. How is she doing? I never try to bash with people, di think its useless, well - it is useless. When people spit blasphemies at me I just smile and nod, wait till they're finished and then bear my testimony of what I know to be true. Val you're awesome - thanks for all the little things.
Kristin - thanks for getting a letter to me. I loved it! The pictures are my favorite! Audrey looks so much like you in that one picture of you and her. Sydney is huge. Kristin I miss talking to you on the phone too, but you better get used to it. haha. You better be there to talk to me at Christmas! Kristin ask Pete where he was staying in Australia? Was he in New South Wales? Tell him I’m learning how to play touch, so we will have to play when I get back. Kris, thanks for your words of support and advice. I am trying hard to love all the people. We still go see Fiona and her husband Junior Tafillipepe regularly and are teaching them the new member lessons. Hopefully I can go see them sealed in the temple in a year, that is their goal.

Can Easton walk yet?
How is Ellie?
I love seeing pictures with big GMCs and American trucks in them. It’s so refreshing. The biggest truck over here would be like a small Toyota Tacoma back home. haha.
I'm glad everyone is digging the blog idea. Mom - thank you so much. It was a sweet idea.
I want to be able to hear Syd talk and say my name? It sounds like the Strawberry family reunion was a success. That’s hilarious that Sarah B was the only one to catch anything. I bet Eric was jealous haha.
Thank you everyone for the prayers. They really help.
Miller’s and Jensen’s thank you for your letters and pictures as well!! I'll have to write you back later as I am out of time.
Love all of you heaps! You all better get along and love each other! God loves us and hears our prayers. Family is the most important thing in the world.

Love your missionary,
Elder Prina AKA ROB
