Stand a lillte taller

alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5503476743209825714" />
I havent had a companion or an investigator who is taller than me yet, but this past week i have been thinking about how I, and everyone, needs to Stand a Little Taller.
G'day everyone. Its a beautiful sunny winter day here on the Gold Coast. Mum, thank you for the Gordon B. Hinkley Email, I too miss his face, and his words. That inspired me, and its interesting because our stake president and other stake leaders were quoting from that book last night at our Stake General Priesthood Meeting. It was a great meeting and the strength in Spirit of the Priesthood was felt powerfully within the walls of that Chapel. We are doing geat as a missionary force. But we can all do better! We can stand a little taller!
Mum, what is Elder Scoty's address in Buenos Aires? I am sending him a package today thats been long in the works but I would like to send it to his mission addy, and all I have is his MTC addy.
What happened to Chris Miller?? How come no one ever tells me anything? I must've missed the Memo.. Is he doing all right. Tell Chris Miller that i miss him and that he's the man. Mum, if you could please hook everyone up with my new flat Addy so that i dont have to wait for mail to come through the system... It its:

16 Arbour AVE.
Robina QLD, 4226
Australia

The work here on the full time bikes is coming along slowly but surely. On Saturday alone we biked about 50 Ks. My legs are going to be able to kick through brick walls.
Lately i have been doing a study on the gifts of the Spirit, more specifically the gift of speaking in other tongues or the gift of tongues, as a result of me tracting into a Born Again lady who tried to preach to me about it. It has been a marvelous study to understand just what is the gift of tongues and i have seen around me in the Lord's missionary work the way the gift of tongues has been manifest. My last companion, E. Thunot didnt speak any English at all when he started his mission, and when i met him (he had been out 17 months) he sounded like he had spoken english his whole life, and would use words in lessons that i didnt even know. There are 2 Elders in our District from Kiribati (Pronounced: Keer a bis) which is a tiny Island in the Pacific that you've probably never heard of. The rate at which they can learn the language and speak with the tongue of Angels is nothing short of Miraculous. And i have family and friends in all corners of the earth on mission learning to speak in other tongues with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Matt The Laie temple re-dedication sounds awesome. Thats so neet that you get to be a part of that! Will you have the chance to attend it regularly after it is re opened? Thanks for telling me E. Naulu is from. He sounds Sweet as. tell him i say whats up. How do you like your new mission president? what is his name? Its cool that Sctoy was in the MTC the same time as them and got to see heaps of apostles and stuff! Do you have any General authorities doing mission tours for your mission at all? We are having Tad Callister come sometime next month i think! He gave the talk in oct. 2009 on the restoration! It was a really amazing talk! ..." Suppose for a moment some one told you these 3 facts about a new testament personalitly and nothing more..
It sounds like the fam is living up the summer back home and getting together alot. Give everyone squeezes for me. Thank you everyone who put photos on my flash drive. Mom and Dad dont run faster than you have strenght on all these cleaning jobs. All things in Wisdom in order. But congratulations on being succesful in finding the jobs. My prayers have been answered!
Dad, thanks heaps for the inspirational stories and testimonies! Tell Elder Knapp (Richard) i say whats up. Hes a good kid. Dad, we've been studying a bit of the old testament as well as a companion ship. There are some good stories in there, eh. we can learn alot from them.
A guy we GQ'd in Redcliffe once said: " A wise man learns from his mistakes, but a brilliant man learns from the mistakes of others"
I feel like i've learned so much so far on my mission and i have so much more to learn! You guys allways teach me so much and lift me up through your emails. Thank you.
John and Sierra, how are yous and the kids? Hows your summer been? Youll have to get me some pictures of the kids, eh?
I love you all so much. and i know the Church is True and that we have the Priesthood power on the earth today, the power to act in GOD's Name.
Have a great week!
Too easy mates!

  1. Hi there, My name is Fiona Herewini (Tafilipepe) I was just wondering, do you have a email address for Elder Rob Prina, it has nearly been a year since we last spoke to him and I really would like to get in touch with him as we have so many things we would like to share with him. He made a big diffrence in my life from helping me get baptized to being there for my wedding. Hope to hear back soon.
