Rob

G'day birds and blokes,
How ya goin?
I've been having a good week with my new companion Elder Christensen. He came out the transfer after me, so he's experienced, and easy to work with& get along with. Its great. He's from Portland Oregon. His last area is Emerald, which is about 2 hours west of Rocky. So he went to Rocky for zone conferences and stuff, so I got to ask him about how things are going up those ways.
We contacted a referral this past week for a guy that the missionaries in the next area contacted. We biked there and it started to rain hard on the way there. By the time we got there we were soaked to the bone. Which goes along with our transfer theme that we set for ourselves as a companionship to "Get Soaked". Luckily they were home, after biking for about 20 minutes and it was a nice Figian family who invited us in, gave us a towel and a place to sit down and even made us some tea (dinner). They also offered us some actual tea, so we told them about the word of wisdom and how we don't drink tea. They said they wanted to learn more about that. The mum, Vi (Violet), takes homeless kids under her wing, so she had heaps of kids living there with her. We taught them all the message of the restoration. Explained the Book Of Mormon, answered their questions, and committed them to read and pray. They gave us a ride home and threw our bikes in the back of their ute, 'cause it was still raining. They even invited us back to dinner and a lesson Monday night (tonight). I looked in the area book this morning and it turns out they are actually former investigators from a year ago. So that was interesting. They even came to church one time. They are the loveliest people, and seem like they have a lot of potential, so please keep Violet, Craig, Jessie, and William in your prayers.
Kelly who got baptized last week is now engaged to Hans G. the 20 yr old in our ward who fellow shipped & baptized her. So that is exciting news... even though I wish Hans would man up and go on a mission.

Matt, I hope you can get this info to Mike Brett before he leaves. I would love a visit from him. My Flat Addy is:
16 Arbour Ave.
Robina, QLD 4226
Australia

and Our Chapel is in Tweed Heads New South Wales on the corner of Ducat and Kaloola St.

Hope that helps him find me. He will love his visit here. Australia is way better than Hawaii!

I love you all, I know the church is true, the work is coming along, and I'm having the time of my life. Enjoy the photos.
Love, Elder R. A. Prina
