1. Matt Pope's Baptism on Saturday the 6th of February! It was the best, we got heaps of help from the members, and there was like 3 investigators at his baptism. He goes by Popey. He was confirmed in church yesterday. He is dating the District president's Daughter - Lisa Swann.

2. The Polizzis (Po-Lit-sees) - a family we have been teaching with the senior couple (the Wallace’s). They live out in a little mining town called Mt. Morgan - about 45 minutes south west of Rocky. The dad (Mario Polizzi) is a member who has been inactive for over 30 years. He has a wife and 6 kids who aren’t members. They were investigating with the J-dubbs for quite some time and attending regularly - but then Mario stopped going and pointed out to his family some inconsistencies with the Jehovah Witness church. Then we found him on the ward list and we started teaching his family. We have taught them almost all the lessons now. Near the end of the first lesson one of the younger kids said "dad, when can we go to their church?" Things have been very good since then except this week when they got the internet back up and Mario found an anti Mormon website that he was apparently up looking at till 3 in the morning. The Wallace’s said that the next morning they got a text from Mario saying that he didn’t want to go on with the Lessons. Luckily the Wallace’s went up their and smoothed everything over and resolved the concerns and showed them the good websites to look on. They came to church yesterday, and we are still invited to come over this Tuesday, so i guess everything is still alright with them. Mario is Italian and His wife is Aussie. He is in mid 50s - he kind of reminds me of your personality Dad - its that Italian blood. He said last week when we were there that he was planning on having us and the Wallace’s over for a big Italian dinner sometime. That will be nice. Our dinner appointments have been alright lately maybe 2 or 3 a week. Nothing like what Matt is getting. Oops - back to the pictures

3. We hiked up Mt. Jim Crow with the Crane family in the branch, that’s sister crane with me and Elder Paki. It was a fun hike that took about an hour and a half round trip. There was a good view, but we picked the hottest day to do it on. I was drenched with sweat by the time we got to the top.
