Thanks for the letters everyone. Andrea, Mark, Kelsey, Ramsay's, Mom and Dad, Valerie, Lisa, Kristin, John, Sierra, Sheyene, Scoty, Deandre... Okay maybe not Deandre...
ALOHA EVERYONE! ITS ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY IN KAHULUI MAUI!!!!! I feel good today, we got up and ran at the park and I'm currently working on a tape for Rob. I enjoyed all of your letters. To answer all of your questions the baptism for Shad'e went very well yesterday, there were two amazing talks. She is so perfect it almost seemed too easy teaching her, she had been prepared by the Lord for this time.
Yesterday was Valentines Day, Andrea's Birthday, Shad'e's baptismal day, and Shad'e's daughter's birthday as well. Good days, good days...
Mom-I'm glad you got my package, Enjoy! Thank you for working with Missionary Mall, I could always use more pants. Are you guys looking for different forms of work at all? Work is really slow here in Maui, most of the Tongans just do what they call Iate (YATE) meaning- building rock walls and trimming palm trees.
Dad-Thanks for the sports updates sorry to hear about UNLV, I never liked that team. Maybe if Jimmer was a little taller he could'have blocked their threes. How is your ankle? Thank you for your letters and emails they are my favorite. I love you.
Lisa-Whats new? Thanks for getting me that story "clean blood", I cry every time I read it. I miss coming to all Christians football games with you guys and filming. We were at a members house and they were watching BYUtv and there was a commercial with the centennial team playing on it and I'm pretty sure I saw Dan La Fontaine. How is Gramp's doing???
Andrea-Happy Birthday, I'm so glad you were born! I still carry around our family picture from Thanksgiving 2008 everywhere we go and show people when we teach about how the gospel blesses families. Everyone wants to know where the beautiful yard is.
Valerie- How are you doing? I miss you and your kids a lot! Eric Elder Unga's dad was in the FBI too. What type stuff are you doing for your Job now? Val are you considering going back to teaching? I think that would be cool, after the kids get a little older. Are you doing any projects on the house? I'm still very curious if Eric ever served on Maui, let me know.
Kristin- How is your life? When does the baby come? Apparently there is tons of Tongans in the Bay area, are you friends with any? What are the updates on Sydney? I wish I was allowed to look at your blog.
John- How is school going, producing any cool art? I'm not, I never have time to draw anymore. We've been so busy lately. I'm getting to the point where I don't even want to take time off for p-day because there is so much work to be done and these investigators salvation is so important. I heard about Kyler, I'm sure you've already given him a blessing, I will continue to pray for him. Have faith.
Our recent convert Iolani was in the ER last week because her head was throbbing and she was having trouble breathing. First we shared with her the scripture from the bible- if there are any sick among you, call upon the elders of the church- then we were able to give her a blessing. It still took a couple days but we saw her at church yesterday and she was back to her healthy cheerful self. I love and miss you.
Rob- thanks for the short email, I know mine are long too. Guess what? I finally ate horse for the first time after Shad'e's baptism yesterday! It was good. You are awesome, keep being obedient and enthusiastic and you and I will have the time of our lives. It was so funny how Alex started quoting "a childs prayer" in his email.
Scoty- I'm so excited for you, for some reason E. Unga reminds me of you. Good luck with everything!
Mark and Kelsey- Thank you so much for the letters and pictures. It was literally one of the best days of my mission when I got the package. It is so good to hear that you and Scoty still hang out together, keep the friends, Keep the faith. Keep it up with Alli, Marriage in the temple sounds like a good goal.
Ramsay's- thank you for the picture, I was so shocked to see all of you in the same place at one time! My district leader thinks Shari is cute! Nicole is so big, she was like a baby last time I saw her!
I love all of you and will see you in about one year.
HAPPY ONE YEAR
